Tiramisu Iced Latte
Tiramisu Iced Latte
Espresso or strong coffee over ice topped with a light mascarpone-cocoa cream—like your favorite Italian dessert in sippable form.
Ingredients
- ½ cup espresso or very strong coffee, cooled
- 1 Tbsp mascarpone
- 1 tsp cocoa powder (plus more to dust)
- ½ cup milk (dairy or oat)
- Ice
Optional sweetener: 1–2 tsp sugar or maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
Directions
- Mascarpone cream: Whisk mascarpone with cocoa and milk until smooth and slightly airy.
- Build: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the espresso/coffee.
- Top & finish: Spoon the mascarpone mixture over the coffee. Dust with more cocoa and serve.
Cafe-style layers: pour the mascarpone cream over the back of a spoon so it floats before stirring.
Quick Espresso Syrup (Optional)
- Stir together 2 Tbsp hot coffee + 2 tsp sugar until dissolved.
- Use to lightly sweeten the espresso before adding the cream.
Keeps 1 week refrigerated.
Tips & Variations
- Dairy-free: Swap mascarpone for vegan cream cheese and use oat milk.
- Tiramisu cookie rim: Moisten the rim with syrup; dip in crushed ladyfinger or graham crumbs + cocoa.
- Less rich: Use 2–3 tsp mascarpone and a splash more milk.
- Hot version: Use hot espresso and warm the mascarpone mixture gently before topping.
- Decaf-friendly: Works perfectly with decaf espresso or cold-brew concentrate.
