Bat Oreo Truffles

Bat Oreo Truffles
No bake Oreo truffles dipped in chocolate, finished with candy eyes and mini Oreo “wings.” Adorable, bite sized, and perfect for Halloween trays.
Ingredients
- 1 (14–15 oz) package Oreos
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups chocolate candy melts (or melting wafers)
- Candy eyes
- Mini Oreo cookies, split into halves (for wings)
Pro tip: Chill rolled balls 20–30 minutes before dipping for a smooth finish.
Directions
- Make the filling: Pulse Oreos in a processor to fine crumbs. Mix with cream cheese until a soft dough forms.
- Roll & chill: Scoop 1 Tbsp portions, roll into balls, and chill 20–30 minutes.
- Dip: Melt candy melts per package. Dip each ball, letting excess drip off; set on parchment.
- Decorate: While still tacky, press on candy eyes and stick in two mini Oreo halves as wings. Let set.
Storage: Keep refrigerated up to 5 days or freeze (undecorated) up to 1 month.
Flavor Ideas
- Mint bats: Use mint Oreos and top with a tiny mint leaf.
- Sprinkle finish: Dust with dark sprinkles before set for a fuzzy “bat” look.
Make Ahead
- Roll balls a day ahead; dip and decorate right before the party.
- For firmer wings, gently scrape cream from mini Oreos so halves adhere better.
